Pressed Ham!

This is a piece I did for Rick Sealock's class. We were supposed to illustrate a placemat for a Yupo paper ad. I wasn't sure if I should sand this piece or not, so I scanned it before... I'm happier with the sanded version (luckily), but Simon says he likes the bright one, so who knows. Not me.

i like them both for different reasons.
but one reason that remains the same is that they both have pig bum prints on a glass pane. its...poetic

You know, in class, I preferred the saturated one.

With them both on screen like this though, I'm way more into the more subdued one. It feels more like a vintage advertisement now.
